Earlier this month the Home Building Association of Richmond (HBAR) held its 2010 Parade of Homes®, marking the 59th annual celebration in the Greater Richmond Area. This year’s showcase featured the work of 27 area builder members across 52 new homes, more than half of which were decorated models.
As usual, this event is an excellent way for homebuyers to get a feel for the latest design trends and to discover the variety of styles and options available to them. It’s also an opportunity for us to measure our best efforts against those of the many skilled and successful builders in Richmond.
This year, homes were available to tour in Goochland, Henrico, Hanover, King William, Chesterfield and Powhatan Counties. It’s important to note that the Parade of Homes doesn’t only highlight luxury homes on estate lots like many home tours tend to do. This event featured homes ranging in price from $190,000 to $900,000.
An important aspect of the Parade of Homes for builders are the awards that are judged in a variety of categories. We’re very proud to announce that StyleCraft Homes had a successful showing, walking away with a total of 6 awards, which are listed below.

We’re all thrilled to see our hard work pay off with these awards but our founder, Richard Kuhn, put it best when he said, “It’s definitely a great feeling to be recognized by the judges for the work and attention to detail we put into our homes, but we believe without a doubt that the best praise we can earn will always come from our satisfied customers.”
