Ghouls Run for the Pool
Saturday, 10/29/11
Join us for the 3rd Annual Ghouls Run for the Pool
When: Saturday – October 29, 2011 (Rain or Shine)
Where: Settler’s Landing Pool Parking Lot
Cost: Early Bird Special: $20 per Adult, $10 per child if you register on before October 15th. After October 15th – $25 Adult and $15 per child
Event Day Schedule
7:30 am – Day of Race Registration
8:00 am - Pre-race Warm Up with Sergio Tromba, Fitness Director MAC
8:30 am - Kid’s 1 Mile Run/Walk
9:00 am - 5 K Run/Walk
10:00 am – Awards Ceremony and Raffle Prizes (must be present to win)
Each preregistered participant will receive a race t-shirt – (You can register on race day but are not guaranteed a shirt). There will be water available on the course and refreshments available after the race. Course maps available at www.settlers-landing.org. Packet pick-up at Runner Bill’s the night prior to the race – more information to follow.
Kids – Douse the Mouse!
Watch out for our creepy critter as he runs the Kids 1 Mile course in reverse! All children will be given a water balloon – if you see our Halloween mouse, don’t miss your chance to soak him as he passes you during the race!
Awards will be given to the top female and male finishers in both races, according to age groups. Kids prizes will be presented to the best costumes worn during the kids fun run. Music and spooky fun for the kids!
