We’re still a few months out, but at StyleCraft we’re already excited and getting geared up for the 2012 Parade of Homes. Each year, the Home Building Association of Richmond hosts their Parade of Homes, showcasing the best of what’s happing in new homes construction in the Richmond region.

In 2011, StyleCraft Homes was honored to be recognized with 14 awards, more than any other builder. In 2012, we’re excited to introduce four brand new floorplans being offered in four different StyleCraft communities. • The Magnolia in Abbey Village at Charter Colony
  The Magnolia is one of StyleCraft’s two new floorplans in Abbey Village. This new plan is available on the few remaining basement homesites in the community, and offer the opportunity for a spacious first floor master suite, a two-story family room, rear staircase and one-car garage. The basement can also be finished into a game room with a wet bar and an additional bedroom with full bath.
• The Savannah at Three Notch Place
  Destined to be one of our more popular townhome plans, the Savannah features a first floor master suite, bright and open kitchen, a spacious and open living area, and large secondary bedrooms, many with walk-in closets. As with all homes in Three Notch Place, this plan also showcases all-brick exteriors, distinctive brick paver driveways, and 50-year roofs. And because Three Notch is a low maintenance community, the headaches of upkeep are kept to a minimum. (Please note that the photo here is of an existing plan at Three Notch Place. The Savannah is under construction and will be photographed when complete prior to the Parade of Homes.)
• The Appomattox at West Oak
  This brand new single-family home plan boasts dual master suites, both first and second floor living spaces, two front porches for maximum outdoor living, a spacious screened-in porch and back deck for hosting gatherings, and a kitchen fit for a true gourmand. With large, wooded homesites situated on rolling hills in a private gated neighborhood, residents can relax knowing their homes will be well cared for, both inside and out. Neighborhood upkeep such as mowing the lawn, raking leaves and keeping community spaces neat and clean are provided at West Oak.
• The Essex at Westerleigh
  As one of our most spacious plans, the Essex includes a spacious master suite along with three secondary bedrooms, a solarium, a private office space or den, and work-horse of a kitchen that flows straight into a spacious living area and formal dining room. With open, luxurious living spaces, energy-conscience features and spacious wooded homesites, the options at Westerleigh are not only beautiful but also efficient.

Last Saturday, we were lucky enough to meet some fantastic brides to be at the Richmond Bridal Showcase. (And quite a few grooms to be as well, although generally speaking, they didn’t seem quite as enthusiastic about attending the event as the ladies did. Don’t worry, guys. We understand.)

Perhaps the luckiest bride to be of all was Gretchen Bell who is the winner of a free KitchenAid Cook for the Cure® Edition Artisan® Series Stand Mixer! Congratulations, Gretchen!

A big thank you to everyone who responded to our Olympic promotion. We received a tremendous amount of interest, which we can only assume means that you all loved the London Olympics as much as we did! Can’t wait until Rio in 2016!

So, who’s excited about the London Olympics? We certainly are! There’s an excitement from the Olympics that’s hard for any other sporting event to match, and a real pride in country that comes from cheering our athletes on to the gold medal.
