Construction Update: Building the 2025 St. Jude Dream Home

We are on year seven of our partnership in building the St. Jude Dream Home. This year’s Dream Home is The Madison floor plan in New Kent’s picturesque Viniterra community. Construction crews have been hard at work and we have finished the foundation and framing has begun. With spring quickly approaching, read on to find out more about this year’s home and the full construction timeline.

The Home

We’ve carefully chosen our Madison floor plan, a customer favorite.  This home features 3,847 square feet, five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a three-season room and a two-car garage. You can entertain with ease in the first-floor flex room, outdoor living area, or open-concept living room. The chef’s kitchen features Bosch appliances, stunning finishes, a spacious pantry, a large center island and a coffee bar. At the end of the day, unwind in your own private Owner’s Suite complete with a walk-in closet and large bathroom with dual vanity.

The Construction Timeline

January 2025: Broke ground at the St. Jude Dream homesite through ice and snow.

February 2025: Continued to clear the homesite, added footers and poured the foundation.

March 2025: We’re actively working on framing and getting the trusses and roofing complete.

March 26, 2025: Ticket sales are live! Be sure to purchase your ticket for a chance to win the Dream Home.

April 2025: This is a jam-packed month as we near completion! We will complete drywall, painting, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring, tile, hardware, plumbing, appliance installation and more. The Floor Signing will take place on Thursday, April 24.

April 24, 2025: The Floor Signing is a special tradition for the Dream Home where all the generous Trade Partners, StyleCraft team members and other attendees get to leave their mark by signing their name and getting a sneak peek of the home at this momentous event.

May 2025: We will put the finishing touches on the Dream Home in preparation for the Grand Opening.

May 31, 2025: Grand Opening Day which will kick off the month-long open house weekends.

June 26, 2025: Don’t miss the Giveaway Show on 12 On Your Side where the winner of the 2025 Dream Home is announced!
