StyleCraft’s 55+ Homes: Where Floor Plans & Social Plans Come Together
October 22, 2022
Whether you’re anticipating the arrival of the extended family for holidays or it’s simply your turn to host Bunco night, StyleCraft’s Freestyle Homes are designed to set the table for a successful visit.
That’s because all 55+ Freestyle floor plans are thoughtfully designed with you in mind, from the main-level Owner’s Suites with private bath to the garages, and optional outdoor living areas. But more than that, you’ll discover how at every turn how our floor plans work extra hard to make entertaining a breeze. From getting all the right space in all the right places to minimizing upkeep, our 55+ floor plans make every guest feel welcome — no matter how long the stay.
Here's a closer look at how we’ve designed each area of your house to be comfortable and convenient for Active Adults like you and your guests alike:
Every Day’s Special: The Kitchen-Café
There’s no doubt that the kitchen is the hub of the home — and this takes on extra importance when you’re entertaining company. Our 55+ Freestyle homes take this role seriously, providing an open kitchen-café layout with plenty of space for meal prep and mealtime. And when it comes time to say goodbye to guests, you’ll enjoy plenty of storage space for both everyday dishes as well as the fancy platters and fine china you take out for special occasions.
Your (Friends, Neighbors &) Family Room
It’s your movie theater, your home office — and on game night — it’s the spacious arena where you compete against neighbors and friends. Located right off the kitchen-café, you’ll find a versatile family room that’s up for the task — any task. Additionally, many of our 55+ floor plans include a Flex Room, which can easily become a second entertaining space.
A Loft to Love
If you’re considering one of our 55+ floor plans that includes a second floor, then your home includes yet another wrinkle that makes it even more versatile. And this is a pretty big wrinkle: a loft. Freestyle home Lofts give you the flexibility to choose how you want to use the space — or even change it up on the fly. Popular options for lofts include creating a second bedroom, a second family room — or if the grandkids need their own play place — an area for the kiddos to call their own.
Inviting Secondary Bedrooms
Speaking of second bedrooms, you’ll find welcome spaces for your overnight guests in our Freestyle Homes. And we think they’ll love them so much that you may need to hang a “No Vacancy” sign outside your home. That’s right, at StyleCraft downsizing means giving up maintaining the space you don’t use, not giving up spaces that you want and need. Whether it’s a spare bedroom on the first floor, or an entire guest suite on the second level, there’s plenty of space for your guests to rest comfortably. We think they’ll even request a late check-out.
Turn Entertaining Inside Out
Whether your 55+ floor plan comes with a patio, screened-in porch, or three-season room, each of these outdoor living areas will make a great impression on your guests. No matter if you’re a griller or a green thumb, we’re pretty sure these will become your favorite spaces. And as an added bonus, they’re conveniently accessible from the first-floor Owner’s Suite.
But enough about your new Freestyle Home. Let’s take a step outside and explore all your 55+ community will have to offer:
- Community Amenities: From the community clubhouse to the pool, fitness center, and sports courts, our 55+ community amenities ensure that your family and friends will enjoy their visit.
- Community Gatherings: Experience the social side of 55+ at gatherings ranging from a cocktail hour at the neighbor’s house to joining the neighborhood book club and even enjoying one of the community-wide get-togethers.
- Low-Maintenance Living: Not sure you’ll have the time to mix and mingle with neighbors? Not to worry, as we’ll handle the lawn care and exterior maintenance. Low-Maintenance Living adds time back to your calendar so that you can entertain guests without watching the clock.
