We’ve wrapped construction on the “Dream Home,” we’re getting it dressed up to the nines, and we’ve sold out of St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway tickets for the third year in a row.
We love it when a plan comes together. Here’s a closer look at how we got here and details for the upcoming drawing:
SO MUCH MORE THAN A HOUSE…
We call it the “Dream Home” because it was built at no cost to be raffled away — with 100 percent of the $1 million-plus raised benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In this way, children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases can receive treatment and care at no cost (and their families can stay close by at no cost, too). But we realize this home will make someone else’s dream come true, too: the winner.
Here’s what they have to look forward to:
- Four, yes four luxurious stories
- A fourth-floor sky terrace offering the best views in Short Pump
- High-end Bosch kitchen appliances to make every day easier and more enjoyable
- Stylish hardwood flooring throughout the main living area
- A 2-car garage with storage — the perfect place for your DIY time or meticulous car care
While the “Dream Home” will be a blank slate for whomever holds the winning ticket, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share some inspiration.
Enter the deft touch of our interior designer, Maureen Magula of Creative Group Interiors, who is weaving in inviting décor throughout the “Dream Home.” Not only is she transforming the house into something worthy of the name “Dream Home,” but she regularly works the same magic on all StyleCraft Model Homes.
