2023 MAME Awards Build Big-Time Recognition for StyleCraft

Every year, we get decked out and show up strong for The Home Building Association of Richmond’s annual Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence awards, or MAME awards. These honors recognize the best of Richmond’s homebuilders, communities, homes, builders, and campaigns, while also spotlighting our industry’s brightest talent with Personal Excellence Awards.

While we’ve been fortunate to take home some hardware in the past, 2024 (celebrating hard work put forth in 2023) was perhaps StyleCraft’s most memorable evening at the MAME awards. And we have all of you to thank for helping us earn these coveted accolades. Here’s a closer look:

2023 Builder of the Year

If it sounds like it’s the big one, it’s because it is. This year StyleCraft was grateful and humbled to be recognized as Richmond’s Builder of the Year — an honor we share with our team members, trusted Trade Partners, homeowners, and everyone who touches the communities we’ve built together.

2023 Community Spirit: St. Jude Dream Home

The last thing in our minds as we relentlessly work on this annual labor of love is winning an award. We’re fully motivated by the children and their families who benefit from this massive, community-wide undertaking. The 2023 Richmond St. Jude Home, located in The Edge at Westchester Commons community, was a true team effort — with many trade partners, sponsors, volunteers, and the greater Richmond community all pitching in time, sweat, and financial resources. The home raised $1.3 million for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, bringing our total raised through our past 5 campaigns to $5.5 million dollars. And let’s not forget the other winner in all of this: the one holding the wining raffle ticket, as they landed a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in the heart of Westchester Commons.

2023 Community of the Year: Mason Yards

It was another winning round for StyleCraft communities located in Scott’s Addition. Mason Yards, our new condo community located just steps from the area’s popular craft breweries, earned Community of the Year kudos just a year after our neighboring community, The Outpost at Brewers Row, did the same.
