Celebrating the Success of the 2022 St. Jude Dream Home

Our fourth St. Jude Dream Home has been imagined, built, and won — and now it’s time to highlight and celebrate the campaign’s success. Our community came together to fund, build, and purchase tickets for this year’s Dream Home, and helped StyleCraft Homes make a record-setting donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

We emphasize our Trade Partners throughout the construction process for a reason — we quite literally couldn’t build Dream Homes to benefit St. Jude without them. They donate their time, materials, and expertise to build the St. Jude Dream Home from the ground up. Many of our Trade Partners graciously signed on to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at our virtual kick-off event, “Bricks & Sticks” and didn’t shy away from the challenges presented by industry-wide production delays in the months following. Their tenacity throughout the project served as the unwavering foundation of this year’s St. Jude Dream Home.

Our local and national sponsors always play a pivotal role in the St. Jude Dream Home initiative, and that remained true this year. Not only did they assist by donating materials to the project, but they also helped spread the word and increase our impact.

We Completely Sold Out

You probably think we say every Dream Home is the best one yet, but we actually have the numbers to back up that claim for this year’s giveaway. 2022 was the first year that allowed us to sell Dream Home tickets online, broadening our reach and giving more members of the community the opportunity to win. In part thanks to this new capability, support from the Greater Richmond community poured in and helped us sell out of tickets in advance of the drawing! The result? The 2022 St. Jude Dream Home allowed us to raise an incredible 1.25 million dollars, exceeding the amounts we’ve raised during prior Dream Home campaigns.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Trade Partners, and sponsors — every cent of the money raised will go directly to the children and families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our community’s collective generosity will help save lives.

Welcome Home to Our Winners

Speaking of changing lives for the better… this recap wouldn’t be complete without celebrating the winner of our giveaway! Congratulations to Robert Post of Richmond, Virginia — the lucky winner of our 2022 St. Jude Dream Home. Robert and his fiancée can’t wait to start Living Up in their brand new StyleCraft Home, valued at $425,000. Their new townhome in Chesterfield’s Wynwood at FoxCreek community offers 2,200 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and of course the quality craftsmanship that’s synonymous with StyleCraft Homes.
