Meet Cara, Your Design Studio Navigator

March 16, 2020

“StyleCraft has a very positive team-based culture. Everyone pulls their weight to achieve a common goal. The company makes sure we continue to learn and team build, especially as new faces join.”

ABOUT CARA

Cara has done it all for StyleCraft over the past 10 years — Sales Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Sales & Settlements Coordinator. For the past year, she’s jumped into a new role, one she’s extremely passionate about: New Home Design Consultant. Today when she’s not helping homebuyers instill their unique sense of style into their homes, she’s making acrylic paint masterpieces of her own.

DESCRIBE YOUR LIVE UP MOMENT — THE MOMENT YOU KNEW STYLECRAFT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU

“When I told management that I was interested in applying for the position of New Home Design Consultant, the response from one of the hiring managers was ‘what took you so long?’ That really made me feel like this was the right decision, not just for me, but for the company and it really felt good knowing I had their support.”

DESCRIBE YOUR TYPICAL DAY

“I get to come to work and shop for a living! In all seriousness, I’m fortunate to be able to assist our customers with selecting all the beautiful interior finishes for their new home. It’s exciting to see someone’s vision come to life and to work with them on such a personal level.”

“I come to work in our beautiful Design Studio, which is a relaxing environment. Some days I’m behind my desk and other days I’m buzzing around with customers or suppliers. No day is the same!”

YOU CAN NEVER SHOW UP AT STYLECRAFT WITHOUT…

“Organization and communication, for sure. This role has a lot of moving parts and what we do in the Design Studio affects our trade partners in the field.”

AND THE HIGHLIGHT IS…

“While the selections process is fun, I really enjoy meeting customers for their Pre-Construction meeting where they see their selections all together right before construction. You can see the happiness on their faces as they envision their home coming together.”
