St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Update: Construction & Ticket Anticipation Heat Up

The 2020 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is already building buzz. (When you build and give away a home valued at $500,000 for a good cause, people tend to talk about it.)

But what you may not realize is just how abuzz our “Dream Home” is with activity.  Construction is well underway, and many milestones have already been reached. Here’s a closer look at where we stand with building, and of course, tickets (which are sure to sell out for the third straight year.)

CONSTRUCTION RAMPS UP

You’re probably familiar with the US. Postal Service’s unofficial motto: “Neither snow nor rain not heat nor gloom…”

StyleCraft has also been delivering the goods through rainy days and high winds — and we’re ecstatic to share that construction is well on its way to the finish line. We want to send a big shout out to our partners and friends at Airflow Heating & Cooling and Trane. Yes, the HVAC system has been fully installed, giving us a living, breathing home, as we like to say in the construction industry.

But that’s not all. Superior Plumbing has also been spending time onsite roughing in the plumbing and gas systems — effort and equipment they donated 100%. And if you’ve already pictured yourself inside the “Dream Home,” play out the following scenario: you’re nestled in your favorite chair, your feet are kicked up on the ottoman, and the fireplace is warming you up — a fireplace donated and already installed by Fireside Hearth and Home.

Next up? We’re moving outside, building curb appeal and installing the exterior brick.
